Irving, TX, January 3, 2012– The most convenient and comprehensive tool in the regional airline industry is getting an upgrade.
The Regional Airline Association (RAA), in coordination with MultiView, Inc., is pleased to announce the release of the 2012 edition of the Regional Aviation Marketplace, the industry-driven search engine that highlights only suppliers and vendors that serve the regional airline industry.
This year’s version of the Regional Aviation Marketplace contains updated company and product listings, as well as the same great features from previous editions.
Users of the Marketplace have the ability to avoid the clutter of a general search engine and only search within the regional airline industry, utilizing a basic keyword search or digging deeper with a more specific, advanced search.
The Regional Aviation Marketplace gives suppliers the unique opportunity to directly connect with RAA members and other companies within the regional airline industry. Listed vendors are able to provide contact information, a quick e-mail option, graphics and links on completed listings within the Marketplace.
The Regional Aviation Marketplace can be accessed through the RAA website at RAA.org and at RegionalAviationMarketplace.com.
With safety as its highest priority, RAA represents North American regional airlines, and the manufacturers of products and services supporting the regional airline industry, before the Congress, DOT, FAA and other federal agencies. With more than 13,000 regional airline flights every day, regional airlines operate more than 50 per cent of the nation's commercial schedule. Some 160 million passengers annually - more than one of every five domestic airline passengers - travel on regionals, and the more than 2,700 regional aircraft comprise about nearly 40 percent of the US commercial passenger fleet. Most notably, regional airlines serve 631 communities across the country and in 486 of those communities - 77 percent of the US - regional airlines provide the only scheduled service.
