ASGE Releases the Online Endoscopy Marketplace
August 29, 2011 - The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) is pleased to announce the development of the most comprehensive and convenient online practice resource for endoscopists available. ASGE’s new online Endoscopy Marketplace is an endoscopy-specific directory featuring listings of products and suppliers that serve the field.
This web-based Marketplace helps ASGE members and those in the field by removing the clutter that general search engines put in their way when seeking endoscopy-related products or services.
While the Endoscopy Marketplace keeps ASGE members’ practices primed for success with its expansive list of cost-effective and efficient goods and services, it also presents suppliers to the field a unique opportunity. Endoscopy vendors can now present their catalogue of products before the eyes of those consumers they are specifically targeting.
Suppliers may also utilize a completed listing that features: contact information, a quick e-mail option, links to websites and social media pages and more. Suppliers also have the option to highlight specific products in the Product Showcase section of the Marketplace.
The Endoscopy Marketplace can easily be accessed through the ASGE home page at www.asge.org and through Endoscopymarketplace.com.

Endoscopy is performed by specially-trained physicians called endoscopists using the most current technology to diagnose and treat diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Using flexible, thin tubes called endoscopes, endoscopists are able to access the human digestive tract without incisions via natural orifices. Endoscopes are designed with high-intensity lighting and fitted with precision devices that allow viewing and treatment of the gastrointestinal system.
