Utilimetrics has introduced their new online resource, the Smart Utility Marketplace

Irving, TX, July 6, 2010: Utilimetrics announced today that it has introduced their new online resource, the Smart Utility Marketplace. This valuable new buyers guide will be available to all Utilimetrics members from a link on the association homepage (www.Utilimetrics.org). The Smart Utility Marketplace will feature a wide range of products and services that will aid utility professionals in their purchasing decisions year-round.

Within the Smart Utility Marketplace, users have the option of performing keyword-driven searches, or a category-specific search. Both methods produce the most industry-relevant results on the web. Users may also contact participating suppliers by email directly from the supplier’s listing. With a downloadable desktop search application available, industry professionals have the ability to search for items directly from a small search window on their desktops - making the search process as convenient and time-efficient as possible.

Along with the option to purchase a graphically robust company listing, direct website hyperlink and e-mail generation capacity, the Marketplace allows supplier companies to add videos to their listing. This feature gives users immediate access to video formatted information and promotions that will help them easily procure products and services specific to their industry needs. Another option, that is one of the best ways to highlight a supplier’s most popular products and services, is the Product Showcase feature. With front page rotation of a select product that link directly back to the company's website, this feature will bring life to each product. Additionally, companies can purchase specific keywords to optimize exposure in search results.

Utilimetrics partnered with MultiView, Inc., an Irving, Texas-based publisher of electronic buyer and supplier guides, to develop the Smart Utility Marketplace. The Marketplace was created to be the leading search engine for the industry. Whether professionals are looking for anything from technical consulting to rugged computer systems to AMR, the Marketplace makes finding the right suppliers simple.
