Irving, TX, April 28, 2010: The Air Force Association
(AFA) has introduced their new online resource, the AFA Airpower Industry
Guide. This valuable new buyers guide will be available to all AFA members
from a link on the AFA homepage (www.afa.org).
The AFA Airpower Industry Guide will feature a wide range of products
and services exclusively for the aerospace industry that will aid government or
military purchasing agents, defense contractors, aerospace industry
professionals, embassy personnel, foreign military personnel, and individuals
in their purchasing decisions.
Within the AFA Airpower Industry Guide, users have
the option of performing keyword-driven searches, or a category-specific
search. Both methods produce the most aerospace-industry relevant results on
the web. Users may also contact participating suppliers by email directly from
the supplier’s listing. With a downloadable desktop search application
available, industry professionals have the ability to search for items directly
from a small search window on their desktops - making the search process as
convenient and time-efficient as possible.
Along with the option to purchase a graphically robust
company listing, direct website hyperlink and e-mail generation capacity, the Guide
allows supplier companies to add videos to their listing. This feature gives
users immediate access to video formatted information and promotions that will
help them easily procure products and services specific to their industry
needs. Another option, that is one of the best ways to highlight a supplier’s
most popular products and services, is the Product Showcase feature. With front
page rotation of select products that link directly back to the company's
website, this feature will bring life to each product. Additionally, companies
can purchase specific keywords to optimize exposure in search results.
AFA partnered with MultiView, Inc., an Irving, Texas-based
publisher of electronic buyer and supplier guides, to develop the AFA Airpower
Industry Guide. The Guide was created to be the leading search
engine for the aerospace industry. Whether industry professionals are
looking for anything from computer modeling to weapons systems to aircraft, the
Guide will make it simple to find the right suppliers.
